Deductions

 
PAYROLL SETUP: The deductions section is designed to handle any regular deductions from a driver's or owner's payroll. The program provides standard fields for Health Insurance, Truck Insurance and Other Insurance as well as open fields where you can set up other automatic deductions.
 
 
 
 
 
 
PAY DEDUCTIONS To setup one of the standard deductions, click the check box for the deduction, fill in the amount of the deduction, check the  box for MONTHLY only if you want the program to only take this deduction once a month.
NOTE: If MONTHLY is checked the payroll will ask each time you run payroll if you want to take that deduction. Answer YES to take it or no to skip it for this payroll.
 
For the CUSTOM FIELD - check the box, enter the name for the deduction, the amount and check the MONTHLY box to have the deduction taken on demand.
For the second CUSTOM FIELD you can also select PERCENTAGE if you wish. Enter the PERCENT in the AMOUNT BOX and check the % box to have the program take a percentage of the gross pay amount.
NOTE: remember to enter a percentage you do not enter the decimal point unless you are taking a partial percent. FOR EXAMPLE -
10% is entered as 10
10.5% would be entered as 10.5
