Co_Drivers

ATTENTION!! THIS FEATURE IS IN THE WORKS
WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON!!

If you drive team the Truckers Helper will track both your logs and your team drivers logs. It will also validate certain aspects of a team operation. For example it will insure that you are not both On Duty Driving at the same time. Since teams do occasionally break up we require that each driver have their own copy of the program and we have very specific rules concerning teams. See the section on DATA SHARING for details on the rules for sharing. The most important rule is data can only be edited by the owner. This protects your data, and since each member of the team has their own data it prevents losing access to your data in the event of a break up.

To set up a co-driver. -
Click MY ACCOUNT in the top right corner of the program and -
Next you'll get the Co-Driver invitation window. Get the email address associated with the Co-Drivers Truckers Helper account and enter it here.

This get's the email box. You must enter the email address associated with the co-drivers account. You will get an error message if the email address is not found.

When you click SAVE you'll get the confirmation box.

Click YES and the email will be sent to the co-driver. This email should be sent from the 'primary' drivers account. Generally one driver will be considered the 'senior' driver, this will be the 'primary' driver for the program to use. If the email agrees with the online account for this driver you'll get a confirmation that the email was sent -

The prospective co-driver will then get an email invitation -

Once the invitation is accepted by clicking the TEAM CONFIRMATION LINK, the new co-driver will show on your log pages as a co-driver and you will appear on their pages as their co-driver. You will be able to look at and show to an enforcement officer their logs but you will not be able to edit or make any changes in their logs. Driver logs can only be edited by the driver who is the sole owner of those records.
