Run Order

Before you enter your first load let's talk about Run Order, what it does and how it works. Run Order is used to tell the program what order to run the stops for a particular trip. This gives you a simple way to mix pickups and deliveries in a single load.  Run order is set when you enter the load and can be edited any time before the load is completed.

In this example this is Pickup #5 which means this is the 5th stop this truck will make for this load and Delivery #8 which means this will be the 8th stop for this truck on this load. You can see an example of this in our sample load where we have 3 pickups, then a delivery followed by another pickup and then our final 3 deliveries.  So you will always start with the first pickup as Run Order 1 and you'll then use the Run Order to tell the program the order for the  rest of the stops.

NOTE: LTL LOADS -
1. ALWAYS START WITH THE FIRST PICKUP AS RUN ORDER 1.
2. YOU MUST ALWAYS SAVE THE FIRST RECORD (PICKUP/DELIVERY) WITH THE DEFAULT RUN ORDER 2 FOR THE DELIVERY.
3. THEN, AFTER SAVING THE RECORD, if you are entering an LTL load, change the delivery order to the correct Run Order & SAVE the change.
4. Subsequent additions to this load can have the run order set as the load is entered.
5. ALWAYS END WITH THE LAST DELIVERY AS THE LAST NUMBER IN THE SERIES.

Note: The program will not allow you to change the default run order until AFTER the load is created (which occurs when the first Pickup & Delivery is SAVED!)
